So, here are some of the biggest announcements for the week of Jan. 19:
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate: Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate signed a 10-year extension with one of its longest-standing franchises, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Paracle. The North Carolina-based franchise has grown to more than 400 agents, who together closed $1 billion in sales in 2025. “Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Paracle’s success story is a powerful example of what’s possible when ambitious operators align with the BHGRE brand,” said brand president Ginger Wilcox. “We are proud to support their continued success across the Carolinas into the next decade.”

The Agency: The Agency has stacked its franchise leadership team with fresh faces, hoping to capitalize on the momentum it built in 2025 with 150 new offices. Scott Mitchelson and James Corcoran have taken on the roles of SVPs of international growth and strategic acquisitions, while Jeff Jaborra and Laurie Popp are stepping into VP roles for franchise sales and franchise operations. The new hires bring more than 80 years of combined real estate experience, including stints at Engel & Völkers, REMAX, Corcoran, Weichert Realtors, and Anywhere Real Estate.
Century 21: Former Compass regional president Kim Harris Campbell has joined D.C.-based Century 21 New Millennium as its new chief executive officer. Harris Campbell joined Compass in 2018 and helped lead the brokerage’s growth strategy for the Southeast and DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) regions. “With people and culture at its core, Century 21 New Millennium has built something special,” she said. “I’m honored to carry forward what Todd, Mary Lynn, and the team have created, pairing exceptional agents, a strong culture, and a deep commitment to growth and innovation.”
Cloze: AI-powered relationship intelligence platform Cloze has appointed industry veteran Stacey Soleil as its new head of community. In her new role, Soleil will focus on building and scaling a community of independent consultants, brokerage leaders, agents, and integration partners. Prior to joining Cloze, Soleil held leadership roles at Inside Real Estate, Follow Up Boss, Zillow, RE/MAX, and Windermere. “What drew me to Cloze is its respect for how relationships actually work,” she said. “It’s about reducing noise, protecting trust, and helping agents stay present and consistent with the people who matter to them. I’m excited to help tell that story in a way that feels human, accessible, and real.”
ERA Real Estate: ERA has expanded its Boston presence with Metropolitan Boston Real Estate, a 21-year-old full-service brokerage run by husband-and-wife duo Michael Albano and Eden Edwards. Albano has more than 30 years of real estate and marketing experience in the U.S., Italy and Russia. “From his days working abroad in advertising to his time spent driving campaign strategy throughout the northeast, Michael has consistently shown his ability to adapt and think outside the box, which is exactly what we’re looking for in representatives of the ERA brand,” ERA Brand President Alex Vidal said.
Interra Realty: Chicago-based commercial real estate investment services firm Interra has promoted longtime associate Michael Duckler to managing director. In his new role, Duckler will help strengthen and expand the firm’s multifamily sales opportunities. Alongside Duckler, Interra also hired business, marketing and architecture professionals Jordan Zaroff and Jack Pearson as associates. Zaroff and Pearson will focus on market analysis, asset valuation and business development.
